Terms of Service
These terms apply to every booking made with Link The Chauffeur. By confirming a booking you accept the conditions below.
The agreement between you and us.
1. Operator
Link The Chauffeur is a Birmingham-based private hire (PHV) operator. All journeys are carried out by fully licensed chauffeurs in insured, MOT-current vehicles.
2. Quotes and fares
Quoted prices are fixed at the point of confirmation and include the vehicle, chauffeur, fuel, mileage and standard meet-and-greet at airports. Additional waiting time, extra stops, route changes requested in-journey and tolls outside the quoted route are charged at the published rate.
3. Payment
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal. Corporate account clients are invoiced monthly on agreed terms. All payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers; we do not store full card numbers.
4. Cancellations
Cancellation more than 12 hours before pickup is free. Within 12 hours we charge 50% of the quoted fare; within 2 hours or no-show the full fare is payable. Flight-tracked airport pickups are protected against airline delays at no extra cost.
5. Waiting time
Airport pickups include 60 minutes free waiting from landing. Other pickups include 15 minutes free. Additional waiting is billed in 15-minute increments at the rate confirmed in your quote.
6. Conduct and vehicle care
Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle. Passengers are responsible for the reasonable cost of valeting if the vehicle is soiled. Our chauffeurs reserve the right to terminate a journey if behaviour endangers their safety.
7. Luggage and child seats
Please advise of oversized luggage at the time of booking so we can dispatch a suitable vehicle. Child seats are available free of charge with at least 4 hours' notice.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount of the fare except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, which is not limited. We are not liable for missed flights or appointments where the cause is outside our reasonable control (e.g. closed motorways, severe weather).
9. Data protection

10. Complaints

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
